There is No End to it

Dividing and parsing our resources, opportunities and judgements
Based on where you were born who your mother is what's under your pants the tinture of your skin the car you drive your musical tastes your interests
No
That's not what matters.

Who's thinking that thought?
Is that thought worth so much more than an African thought?
With time and training, the thought's the same in any case.

The illusion of difference--
How wonderful when a Chinese athlete won the gold.
They won it for all of us
Your suffering is for all of us
Your wealth is for all of us
Nothing is lost
Nothing is gained

It's all just part of the big cosmic smile.
You look away from it
And there's suffering enough for all.
